Getting around in Valencia

Airport
Valencia Airport is situated 8km from the city centre.

Travelling from the airport
Going to the city centre by taxi costs approximately €14 + airport supplement of €3.50.

Airport buses run every 20 minutes from 6 am until 10 pm. The trip into the centre of the city takes around 15 minutes and costs €2.50. There are two underground lines which link the airport, the city centre and the port: Line 3 (Rafelbunyol - Aeroport) and Line 5 (Marítim Serrería - Torrent Av. / Aeroport). The station is at the ground floor of the regional flights terminal. The journey takes around 25 minutes. Tickets are €1.70.

Taxis
There are many taxi companies in Valencia and taxis, which are white with a green ’for hire’ light on top, are easy to find. There are several taxi ranks in the city, but you can also hail a taxi from the street. You may also reserve a taxi. Very few taxis accept credit cards.

Boat trips
Guided boat trips are available at Parque Natural de la Albufera.
