Eat, shop and snooze in Budapest
Eat, shop and snooze in Budapest
Budapest is two cities in one, separated by the Not-So-Blue River Danube. Hilly ‘Buda’ is where most of the grand castles and curvaceous churches are while flatter ‘Pest’ lays claim to nearly all of the museums, theatres and Parisian-style boulevards.
Ornate Fishermen’s Bastion, all quirky steps and passageways, is where locals and tourists congregate to watch sunsets over the Danube, while many of the beautifully- restored baroque houses are now antique shops or elegant restaurants.
