Posting Policy

BuyAssociation Posting Policy

We want to make the BuyAssociation Community a place where everyone is free to comment on, discuss, disagree with, praise, or otherwise, the contents of the site or anything else that is on their mind. We fundamentally believe in the freedoms of the internet, but at the same time, and as much as we hate to do so, we have to regulate the comments that will be posted here.

A good community has lively, entertaining, intelligent and diverse postings from a wide range of contributors. The primary function of this part of the site, like the rest of BuyAssociation, is to inform the user. The last thing we need is for sensible and reasonable discussions to be ruined and obstructed by abusive and offensive comments from a few inconsiderate individuals.

Therefore, by adhering to a few basic and simple considerations as outlined below, the BuyAssociation Community should be a happy and helpful place for all contributors.

  • Racism, sexism, homophobia or any other form of prejudice will not be tolerated in any way

  • Mindless abuse and personal attacks have no place in a community discussion among intelligent individuals, aside from being offensive, they get in the way of the topic under discussion

  • We will remove any posts which may leave us open to legal action. Any comments deemed to be potentially libellous, defamatory, or in breach of copyright or other laws will be blocked. Also, any posts which are untrue, malicious, inaccurate or fraudulent are banned

  • Any comments deemed threatening in any way will be removed. We have no wish to stop you venting your feelings, but will remove offensive or excessive comments without hesitation

  • If a discussion becomes overly long and impairs the functioning of the site, we will likely archive it, but also reserve the right to close the discussion. This also applies to posts containing any material that slows down or impairs the website

  • Any posts which contain or could be seen to constitute advertising will be removed. Personal recommendations can be made, but if we see things developing into a sales pitch we will remove it.

In using any part of the BuyAssociation website, you also are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions of the site.

Finally, a good community is self-regulating – contributors are free to report anything they feel is inappropriate or in against the spirit of the community or the website.
