Paul Collins

Paul Collins – Property Editor, BuyAssociation.co.uk

Paul Collins, a graduate in French and Italian, has worked in the property world since 2003, working for property magazines and websites and became Online Editor of NewSkys in April 2006. He has provided expert comment on property across a range of media – from TV and podcast interviews to national newspapers and magazines. In December 2006, Paul was appointed as Property Editor for BuyAssociation, the independent property website and impartial buying guide.

Cheryl Markosky

Property Journalist

Cheryl Markosky is a freelance national property journalist contributing to the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Ireland on Sunday, Independent, Financial Times, Sunday Times, Daily and Sunday Telegraph. She also writes for magazines including She, Show House, Homes Overseas, House Hunters in the Sun, Property Review and London Lettings.

Paul Owen

Paul Owen joined the AIPP in January 2006 having spent the previous 5 years selling property in France. He became one of the French property market’s foremost commentators, appearing on national television and radio, and featuring regularly in the national press and leading property magazines.

His work now at the AIPP focuses solely on improving standards of professionalism in the international property market.

Paul is one of our experts on our Spain Show where he gives advice on avoiding purchasing pitfalls and he joined us at A Place In The Sun Live! He also gives his top tips in our exclusive France Q&A Podcasts on Paris, Rhône-Alpes, The South Coast and Central South West France.

Bill Blevins

Managing Director, Blevins Franks Group

Bill Blevins is co-founder of the Blevins Franks Group established in 1975.

Bill has been involved in international private client investment and tax planning for over 40 years and regularly lectures on these subjects both in the UK and overseas. He is a Member of the International Tax Planning Association and the author of numerous books on specialist expatriate investment and tax matters.

Bill is a regular radio broadcaster both in the UK and southern Europe on investment and tax planning matters.

Bill lends his expertise to our Portugal Show where he explains the country's new tax laws. Bill also features on our Essential Checklist Show and Overseas Property Extra.

Dennis Phillips

Principal, Phillips International Lawyers

Dennis Phillips is a UK qualified Solicitor and Principal of Phillips International Lawyers. Prior to setting up Phillips, Dennis gained a wealth of experience with another prominent firm of international property specialists, initially in their Spanish Department. From February 2004, as Head of Emerging Markets, he and his team pioneered the provision of legal services to English speaking clients in Croatia, Dubai, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

Dennis talks to Adrian Mills in our Turkey Show and explains the country's purchase process. He also features on our second Dubai Show where he explains the legal process of buying abroad and giving his top tips in Overseas Property Extra.

David Cox & Ray Withers

Co-founders, Property Frontiers

David and Ray are the founding directors of Property Frontiers and authors of “Where To Buy Property Abroad – An Investors Guide” published by Vacation Works.

Ray has a degree in Engineering from the University of Warwick. He initially started in international property as an investor, before sourcing properties for a range of colleagues and contacts in the Management Consultancy and Investment Banking communities of London. He sits on the board of AIPP.

David has a Masters in Built Environment and Economic Development from Bristol University. Whilst studying he worked in UK Estate Agency and moved into international property as a private investor before founding Property Frontiers.

David and Ray gave their expertise in our first Investment Show as well as Overseas Property Extra. David also gave his thoughts in our Caribbean Show, Q&A podcasts on Rental Income and Off Plan and New Build versus Resale.

Peter Conradi

Property Editor, The Sunday Times

Peter Conradi is the author of Fly to Let and Editor of The Sunday Times Home. He is a keen investor in real estate, both in Britain and abroad. A graduate of Brasenose College, Oxford, he has been a foreign correspondent based in a number of cities, including Moscow and Brussels, and is currently the newspaper's property editor. He is the author of several books and lives in London with his wife, Roberta, and three children.

Peter is a guest on our Emerging Markets and Bulgaria Radio Shows, along with providing expert advice on our Baltics and Dubai shows. Peter joins Amanda Lamb and Adrian Mills on our Getting Started Show.
