Golf properties up to par - 10 August 2007

As the professionals sweat in temperatures above 100 degrees F at the USPGA golf championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the idea of buying your overseas property on a golf development is becoming more commonplace. This is made easier by the fact that there are now a huge number more golf developments across the world to choose from.

The advantages of buying on a golf development run from the economic to lifestyle and planning for the future. One oft-cited advantage of living on a golf development is the natural surroundings, and the fact that on top of the grounds being perfectly maintained, there is no possibility of having another property built directly in front of yours.

Golf properties are considered to be easier to rent out when you are not using them, partly due to the opportunity to rent to golfers, and partly because golf properties tend to make great locations for families with children.
