Buyer confidence reflected in successful show - 8 March 2007

Buyers’ confidence in the property market remains strong as almost 15,000 visitors headed to the Homebuyer Show at London’s ExCeL centre last weekend in search of the latest advice and best opportunities for home buying and property investment.

The show featured over 250 exhibitors providing expert advice and information for all levels of the property ladder in the UK and overseas.

Visitors were also able to take their pick of over 100 information-packed seminars on topics from the do’s and don’ts of buying at auction to identifying emerging hotspots, one of the biggest draws of the show.

Nick Clark, Homebuyer Show managing director said, “Yet again, the Homebuyer Show has had the most tremendous turn out, with more visitors flooding through the doors than the previous year.”

Andrew Thomas from Wandsworth who visited the show on Saturday said: “I am currently looking to extend my UK buy-to-let portfolio into some additional cities and visited the Homebuyer Show to research the best places to buy as well as the latest landlord regulations.”

“I received really useful advice at the show and will purchase a property in the next few months with an exhibitor I met there.”

The show covered a big range of foreign markets covering Latin America and Eastern Europe to the Far East. Visitors were also able to take their pick of over 100 information-packed seminars on topics from the dos and don’ts of buying at auction to identifying emerging hotspots, one of the biggest draws of the show.

The next investor show will be later this month at the NEC, Birmingham, while a property investor and homebuyer show will be held in early June at Manchester.
