Celebrity couple land in Dubai - 19 November 2007

Reports coming from Dubai suggest that one of the most famous Hollywood couples in the world are soon to become the most famous Hollywood couple on the World.

It has been reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought one of the exclusive reclaimed islands that make up the super-development of the World, and intend to use the land to showcase environmental issues and encourage people to live a greener life.

The island, part of the amazing cluster of 300 man-made islands off the coast of Dubai shaped and positioned to look like a map of the world, is being constructed by state-owned developer Nakheel. It is possibly the most extravagant of the projects reclaiming land from the Persian Gulf, even by the standards of the booming Emirate of Dubai.

Should this rumour, reported by HomesGoFast.com, turn out to be true, the couple can expect to have some familiar faces as neighbours. Although Nakheel have always been very careful to be discreet over the identity of buyers on this development, other celebrities thought to have purchased on the World include David Beckham, Richard Branson and Rod Stewart.
