A new Ethos in non-invasive procedures - 3 March 2009

A clinic offering non-invasive cosmetic treatments across London and the south of England has decided to break away from the trend of many of those offering the same kind of procedures by making sure all treatment administered is preceded by a thorough assessment and consultation.

One of the results of the rise in the number, availability and affordability of some of the most popular cosmetic treatments has been the way in which some practitioners have offered them on almost a retail basis. While it is clear that non-invasive treatments are much less invasive than surgery, the decision to have cosmetic treatment is one that should never be taken lightly or without consultation.

Ethos Medical was established in 2007, and is run by Alison Crook and Simon Chan across 52 salons in the south of England, and offers treatments like Macrolane breast injections, Mesotherapy skin injections and the Vita Boost vitamin jab. All clients have a ‘no-pressure’ complimentary consultation with doctors and nurses who will give their honest advice on treatment and what they would expect to achieve.

Ethos use six female practitioners, three doctors and three qualified nurses, with a wealth of experience.

Mesotherapy targets the middle layer of the skin, injecting a specially prepared mixture of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and medications to give the skin a natural rejuvenation treatment packed with vitamins which improves skin hydration and circulation. Vita Boost also uses vitamin therapy, but in this case as a tool to combat fatigue and boost wellbeing by injecting vitamin B12 and B6 in a way that is far more effective than taking traditional supplements. The method has been used such people as Lady Thatcher and Madonna to boost energy levels and fight fatigue.
