A new bust in time for the holidays - 8 December 2008

At the end of a year of emotional trauma, telesales team leader Hannah Jordon was looking for a boost to her physique as well as to her confidence. Having been through a harrowing divorce, Hannah was keen to restore lost volume to her previously-ample breasts.

The 28-year-old from Kent said, “I had always been proud of my sizeable chest, but with the recent emotional stress of going through a divorce not only did I lose weight, I also noticed that my breasts had started to sag and lose their volume. To compensate, I had to wear push-up or gel-filled bras to give the appearance of what used to be one of my best assets.”

Hannah decided to visit specialist cosmetic surgery consultancy The Private Clinic, who recommended she have a course of treatment using Macrolane, a new bust-enhancing injection now available. Macrolane is a protein-based substance injected into targeted areas of the body in order to enhance the contours, giving a plumped-up, rejuvenated appearance.

Dr Dennis Wolf is a cosmetic doctor at The Private Clinic and is an approved Macrolane physician. He said, “The treatment is minimally-invasive and requires only a local anaesthetic. With the patient fully awake this enables us to discuss with them where they require the extra volume to their breasts and no downtime is involved. It is a completely patient-guided procedure. With the festive season fast approaching, this is an isdela treatment for those wanting immediate results without the recuperation time needed in cosmetic surgery.”

Having increased her bust by nearly two cup sizes, Hannah has a new-found confidence and is looking forward to the party season to show off her new cleavage. “The decision to have Macrolane was certainly one of the best I ever made. Dr Wolf at The Private Clinic talked me through every step of the procedure making sure that I was happy with the shape that he was going to achieve for me.”

Macrolane is not a permanent treatment as dermal fillers like this are absorbed and metabolised by the body, made as they are from naturally-occuring proteins. The initial treatment, costing from £2,800, should last between one and two years, with top-up treatments at yearly intervals thereafter.
