The North West is a region of contrasts with the vibrant cities of Manchester and Liverpool complimenting the stunning Lake District. As a result, there is a wide range of properties available, in an even wider price bracket.

Second-homers may be pushing the price of country cottages up, but the thriving newly regenerated cities have created a solid property market all of their own. Add into the mix great transport links and the fact that the cost of living is 30 per cent cheaper than in the South East, and it’s not surprising that the North West is proving so popular.
